Oak forms the structure of the Calvenne Shelf, providing durability, visible natural grain, and a warm material character. The piece can be finished entirely in natural or stained oak, or with a contrasting painted base as shown. Hardware finishes may also be selected to complement the chosen wood and color treatment.
Wood tone, finish, dimensions, hardware, and drawer configuration can be customized according to the project. The base may be finished to match the natural oak top or specified in a contrasting painted treatment while preserving the shelf’s three-drawer layout, turned-leg profile, and balanced proportions.
About the Design
Calvenne Shelf combines the light proportions of a console with practical concealed storage and a distinctly handcrafted character. Three integrated drawers create a clean horizontal composition beneath the broad oak top, while slender turned legs bring rhythm and refinement to the open lower structure. The contrasting dark finish shown on the base emphasizes the sculptural leg detailing and gives the piece a more tailored presence without compromising the warmth of the natural wood.
